The shrimp tostada and the beef cecina tostada are dishes I'll be remembering for a very long while. Both were extremely satisfying and all the components balanced each other out. I am not a fan of corn tortillas in general because of the texture, but I didn't mind Los Tacos' version that much as it wasn't too grainy. The al pastor ate too sweet for my liking since the grilled pineapple overwhelmed everything else, but their fish taco was sensational and fried to perfection. The Maize Ale and Citra IPA craft beers were great pairings and complemented our food nicely. Based on my experience overall, Los Tacos absolutely deserves its Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition with their technical, flavor-forward dishes that doesn't break the bank. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Food: Shrimp Tostadas: 5/5 Esquites: 5/5 Al Pastos Taco: 3/5 Wagyu Beef Taco: 3/5 Horchata Ice Cream 5/5 The star of the show for us were the Esquites and Horchata Ice Cream. The ice cream had a perfect balance of sweetness, texture (crunch) and smoothness. I keep thinking about it. The same goes for the esquites, it had a crunch to it and was creamy! As for the tacos, they didn't really stand out for us, the Al Pastor taste like Lechon Kawali as per my son. We would definitely go back to try their other menu offerings but definitely for the corn and ice cream. The Shrimp Tostadas in the other hand was fresh, tangy and crunchy. Definitely worth trying as well! Ambiance: It had a nice upscale restobar ambiance to it. Interior was really nice, great place for catching up with friends after work or date night. Service: Food came out fast but fresh. We just had water and after asking once, the staff would automatically refill our glasses. Great service, they were really attentive to their customers.

Everything about the experience felt effortless — warm service from the moment we arrived, attentive staff throughout, and a smooth, unhurried pace until the very end of the meal. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and genuinely satisfying, making the whole dining experience feel well-taken care of rather than rushed. Definitely a place I’d confidently recommend and happily come back to.

Los Tacos is a Mexican fusion restaurant located in the heart of Bonifacio Global City, and it’s steadily building a name for itself by trying to elevate Mexican gastronomy in the local food scene. Atmosphere – 4/5 We visited for lunch, but I feel this place really shines at dinner. The lighting creates an intimate setting, ideal for relaxed conversations with friends or a casual date. The reason it doesn’t reach a 5/5 is mainly due to the acoustics—when the restaurant gets busy, noise levels rise quickly and conversations become difficult. On top of that, the sound system doesn’t help much; the speakers sound quite basic, which affects the overall dining ambiance. Service – 4/5 Service was generally good and friendly. I did have to follow up on a couple of items that seemed to be forgotten, but the staff were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to explain the dishes. Food – 4/5 Los Tacos plays in a challenging space, where dishes need to be visually appealing (very Instagram-friendly) while still delivering strong flavors. For the most part, they manage to strike that balance, especially with their tacos. However, some dishes felt a bit underwhelming—particularly the flauta and the ceviche, which lacked depth compared to the rest of the menu. The highlights are definitely the tacos, especially the campechano and lengua, which were both excellent. Their pollo al carbón is also very solid and worth ordering. Overall – 4/5 A good dining experience with clear strengths and room for improvement. I’d happily come back, especially once they roll out a refreshed or updated menu.

An absolute gem! The tacos were amazing, the taco meat was succulent and tender. The rib eye tostada had a Korean fusion taste to it that was great. This place definitely earned their Michelin Bib Gourmand award!

She craved Mexican food; he just wanted an Old Fashioned with a taco to nibble on. Los Tacos is tucked away on the ground floor of One Uptown Residence in BGC, so well hidden behind a famous coffee shop, an elevator shaft, and two escalators that you’d think it was intentional. Ironically, we walk past it daily on our way to the condo, barely noticing it. Eventually, hunger aligned with curiosity, and Mexican won. This is not your taco truck variety. Los Tacos is decidedly upscale, and yes, expensive. Dare I say overpriced? Perhaps, unless you’re willing to pay for quality ingredients and handmade tortillas. The tacos and tostadas are not store-bought. The Hass avocado is fresh. The Iberico pork, lamb chops, duck breast, and ribeye looked irresistibly good from our seats at the bar, right in front of the wood-fired grill. I’ve developed a deep appreciation for wood-fired cooking after our experiences at Firedoor in Sydney and Fogón in Buenos Aires, and watching the grill here only heightened the anticipation. The Michelin Bib Gourmand is well deserved in this case. I’d happily return to try more tacos and perhaps enjoy a proper glass of tequila on the side. My only real disappointment was the Trace Buffalo Old Fashioned, which arrived looking pale and half-empty. That said, it was undeniably good…just left me wanting more.

Had an 8pm seating at newly listed Michelin Bib Gourmand awardee, Los Tacos MNL at One Uptown in BGC. Chef Patrick Curitana has come a long way from his Birria centric taco station in Paseo de Magallanes to the culinary world stage recognized by none other than the Michelin Guide in its first ever Manila plus Environs and Cebu edition. Food - 5*, started out strong with his phenomenal Esquites (₱380) made with grilled corn, habanero crema and manchego. Seemingly simple but packs a huge flavor punch. We had a couple of Tostadas, Tuna (₱360) and Shrimp (₱360). Between the two, immensely impressed with the Tuna, not to say that the Shrimp was bad just that the Tuna was excellent. Savoring the Tostadas which were made from scratch by the chef and his team with Mexican corn that you can actually taste the vibrance in the toasted tortilla to the delicate yet loud flavor explosion due to the combination of spices. Ordered all of his other taco offerings; Fish (₱480), Lengua (₱500), Al Pastor (₱550) and Campechano (₱550). Though it was the least expensive, enjoyed the maya-maya Fish Taco the most. All were superb, just expected a lot more from the Campechano because it headlined Wagyu cheeks but it was more of the Mexican chorizo taste profile that shone through. Paired these offerings with Mescal Smoky which put us in the Fiesta mood. Still very impressed and proud that Filipino chefs are getting recognized by a global body. Service - 5*, Adrian, our server was very knowledgeable and respectful. He patiently explained the characteristics of their offerings and helped us make wonderful food choices. Atmosphere - 5*, modern, functional and evokes class
